A significant forecast fix has been applied to an issue that many users may have randomly seen from time to time. The issue would have the forecasted height dip down inappropriately for a few hours or before climbing back to the appropriate forecast height. We were able to resolve this problem by updating our forecasting methods.

We are constantly working on making improvements to the accuracy of the Surf Captain forecasts. Most of the time we do this quietly behind the scenes without any notices, but we thought this particular fix was worth sharing since many people have likely been aware of this odd behavior from time to time.
