Surf Captain is now forecasting for the island of Puerto Rico! The plans have always been to add on more regions to the Surf Captain forecast list. The Caribbean region is next on the list, but a recent get away for the Surf Captain staff fast tracked the Puerto Rico forecasts.
We are forecasting for the following areas in Puerto Rico:
- Rincon (North)
- Rincon (South)
- Aguadilla Pueblo
- Aguadilla, Wilderness
- Aguadilla, Surfers Beach
- Isabela
- Arecibo
- Los Tubos
- Dorado
- San Juan
- Luquillo
- Southeast Coast
A note on the forecast locations. We generally strive to have forecasts for a local region, rather than individual surf breaks, but sometimes due to the nature of the geography, we will have have a forecast named after the surf break. This will always be for well known public surf breaks, like Surfers Beach or Los Tubos.
The forecasts for Puerto Rico can be found under the Caribbean region. While, Puerto Rico is a United States territory, it made more sense to be organized within the Caribbean. Look for the rest of the Caribbean to be added to Surf Captain later this year.
