A new feature has been added to the surf forecast pages to easily view buoy data details and history. 

The new feature can be accessed next to the buoy section in the current conditions.  Just click on the buoy data link to access the Buoy Data Modal.

While viewing the latest wave height and wave period from a nearby buoy is helpful, it is often very valuable to get more buoy details, such as the swell component height, period, and direction. Additionally viewing the recent buoy history can help you understand the trends of an incoming or existing swell.  There is also a list of the 10 nearby buoys to easily change buoys. 

The new buoy data modal makes it a breeze to view all of pertinent buoy data and to be better prepared to know how how the surf will be at your break.
