We are extremely stoked to release Surf Captain Surf Alerts.  This new feature makes it easier than ever to stay on top of the forecasts by setting custom surf alerts for your favorite surf locations.

To set up a custom surf alert, go to the favorite screen and select “add” alert.  You can then set the thresholds for minimum and maximum wave height, surf conditions, and the number of days' notice for the surf alert.  Notifications can be sent out by push notification (iOS/Android) or by email.

Tune the surf alert so that you are notified when the forecast meets your ideal conditions, and never miss a good swell again!
